I recently read in an e-book that there are lots of advantages of stupid. And actually being stupid can be a good thing. I forgot the URL of the site but the author says that stupid in this case is like the "not too smart" kind of stupid, not the "dumb" kind of stupid.
Basically, what he says is that, most of us are smart people. Just too smart. In the end, we end up thinking a lot, being creative, being inventive and doing too many things. As a result, we miss our true goals and objectives and end up with only a bit of what we want, if not nothing at all. He has got a good point.
