The Stuff
CuteHTMLCuteHTML is rather old, but I still use it. As a text-editor, it provides all the functions that I need, like tabbing and text-coloring. Which means it can detect html tags and color them appropriately. It can word-wrap if you want it to. Also, the numbering helps a lot when debugging Javascript.I also love the Find and Replace Function in CuteHTML. That little gadget has saved me a hell lot of time. CuteHTML is actually a program that comes with the CuteFTP software but it is FREE! I have been using it since 1999. Imagine that.
