The Lunar New Year, also known as the Chinese New Year, is a celebration that is mega huge in the Eastern world, especially in Asian countries. And every year, it is accompanied by the God of Wealth mascot... Choi San!

Choi San, also known as the God of Wealth, is the official Chinese New Year Mascot.

The Chinese New Year is actually the day when the Chinese Lunar Calendar enters into a new year. This is day is widely celebrated in Asian countries such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore. And this celebration is often accompanied by fireworks, red packets, lion dances and Choi San! Choi San is the Cantonese name of the God of Wealth. He is the official mascot of the Chinese New Year and everywhere, you can see people dressing up as Choi San. In other words, the Santa of Chinese New Year. What is so funny this year is the Choi San balloon that my sister and I saw... Take a look!
