Apache Web Server Auto Stop
Problem problem problem with webhosting. Tamugaia.com is now hosted on a VPS. A VPS is a Virtual Private Server. But here and there, problems pop up. One of the horrible problems is the one where the Apache Web Server Automatically Stops!
The VPS Apache Web Server on which Tamugaia.com is hosted automatically Stopped. I would not reveal the name of the webhost in order not to give them any bad reputation. But 50% of the time it is not really their fault.
I always do some digging and researching when problems like this pop up. And so it seems that from what I infer from my research, Tamugaia.com was using up to much memory on the VPS server, to the point that the Apache Web Server had to shut down. What I did was to change some settings on the httpd.conf file so that the server processes would not eat up that much memory power.
So far the server is not stopping but I will be closely monitoring Tamugaia.com to see what happens/
